Another week without Badtaste, I'm really having withdrawal symptoms.
Anyway, on friday I eventually had that session of permanent make up on my lips, it turned out pretty well, I'm really satisfied about it. The pain was atrocious at times, but I'd do it again. Actually, I will have to do it again in a month, for the usual "pick up": the ink isn't going to be perfect, they always give the last touch in about a month.
My lips aren't swollen anymore, and the pain has almost gone away. I have to apply my precious lip cream a zillion times a day, but in a few days I will be able to use lipstick & gloss.
As for my page, it's going on very well, it will be 1 year old on November 20th, and I'm already thinking about a surprise....don't know what yet.....shhhht, it's a surprise! Derailed is getting quite a lot of media attention and I truly hope it's going to gross big bucks.
Sunday and it's raining. I have plenty to do:
* update my site
* clean my room
* sort my Autumn clothes out * watch a few DVDs
* pay a visit to my granny
At the moment, I'm downloading a few Post Production diaries on KongisKing.net, the ultimate King Kong fansite.
Kong is going to arrive on every screen in the world in mid December and sure I've been waiting for it. It's Peter Jackson's last work...PJ is the person in showbusiness I admire the most, he's my hero, I've been a fan since the old days when no one paid much attention to that crazed NZ director. I'm immensely proud of him and I know Kong will be a success. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
- Mood: Happy, happy, haaaaapppyyyy

First post in a long time....I've been quite busy.
Today it's Sunday and it's a very satisfactory day:
1) I managed to update my page, the Clive Owen Scrapbook, with the official Derailed poster. It's Clive's new film, it comes out in the US on November 11th and I'm thrilled about it. There was a major problem with the poster (the file didn't open), but now I've fixed and it's all right. By the way, this is the poster:

Not bad

Then, I even got a link to the trailer....officially it isn't out yet, but - don't know how - MovieBox has got it already!
2) I finished Medievil. My first PSP game. I eventually kicked Zarok's bony "derrière" and I won.
Good, very good. Wait, what am I going to play with?!?
I must immediately trade it for another game.
- Mood:

- Music: yaaaawn
Very important news: it seems production is going ahead for "His Dark Materials": the movies based on Philip Pullman's novels.
The titles are:
The Golden Compass
The Subtle Knife
The Amber Spyglass
These novels are the best fantasy books I've ever read, it's brilliant stuff, not to be missed.
The director seems to be Anand Tucker (Hilary & Jackie), who's a big fan of the novels. Pullman seems delighted by this choice. Hope they start production soon!!!!

- Mood: sleepy
- Music: sweet silence...
Just 2 days and I'll be home, just 3 days and I'll be on holiday.
I got to hold on and be strong
Hey, I've just noticed they have an Alan Rickman emoticon!!!!

Here it is:
The resemblance is pretty good. I would never have guessed my favorite actor could end up on an emoticon.
you rock, Alan, and you'll always have a special place in my heart.
Nothing new really, just the same old routine. The only difference is, I'm all alone in the office. It's boring, but at least I get more work done.
On a bright note, my skin is finalloy getting better. Hope it lasts...I still don't know what I'm going to do with the hairdresser, since my usual one has closed down for the holidays. Oh, I guess I'll try another one...2 weeks of sea won't be good for my hair, better to pamper it until the end.
Good thought of the day: the sea....
...This is Sardinia, in May, I was there for a convention of the firm I work for. Charming, isn't it? The weather wasn't very good, but the place was lovely.
